System overview
The system utilises a precision-engineered floating steel track assembly, accurately levelled using adjustable shims to create a perfectly aligned running surface. As no floor fixings are required, the existing floor remains completely unaltered. Access is provided via low-profile aluminium step-up ramps, ensuring safe, comfortable access onto the raised storage platform.
This configuration comprises two back-to-back mobile shelving units operating between single static shelving units positioned at each end of the installation. Each shelving bay incorporates robust single-skin Delta steel shelving with up to seven fully adjustable shelves, allowing the storage layout to be easily reconfigured as storage requirements evolve.
Every shelf is engineered to support a uniformly distributed load of up to 80 kg, with each complete shelving bay offering a maximum load capacity of 500 kg, providing outstanding strength for both archive and industrial storage applications.
The complete system is finished with a durable raised melamine-faced chipboard floor, providing an attractive, hard-wearing walking surface while concealing the floating track system beneath.
