Why PUWER matters
Under PUWER 1998, the duty-holder (employer) must ensure mobile and powered storage equipment is safe, inspected and maintained. A documented annual inspection by a competent third party is the simplest way to discharge that duty — and the first thing an HSE inspector will ask to see after an incident.
What we check
Rails, wheels, bearings, base frames, anti-tip and brake mechanisms, handle and gearbox operation, powered drive systems, photocells, floor sweeps, e-stops, fascia panels, loadings, labelling and overall structural condition. You receive a written report with photos, traffic-light findings and prioritised actions.

Common questions
+Is PUWER inspection legally required for mobile shelving?

Structural condition, rail integrity, base and wheel wear, anti-tip and brake function, handle / gearbox operation, powered drive and safety systems (photocells, e-stops, floor sweeps), labelling, loadings and a written report with any required actions.
+Do you cover all brands?
Yes — Bruynzeel, Compactus, Rackline, Forster, Dexion, Probe, Lyon, Link 51 and legacy systems UK-wide.
+What's included in a maintenance contract?
Annual PUWER inspection, written certification, scheduled lubrication and adjustment, priority call-out response, discounted labour rates and a fixed annual price for budgeting.
