+What is roller racking?
Roller racking (also called rolling shelving or mobile racking) is shelving mounted on wheeled bases that run along floor rails, allowing multiple bays to share a single access aisle. Opening one aisle moves the bays apart, doubling the storage in the same footprint.
+Is roller racking the same as mobile shelving?
Effectively yes — "roller racking", "mobile shelving", "compactus" and "high-density storage" are industry synonyms for the same family of mobile-aisle storage systems. We supply and service all variants.
+What weights can roller racking hold?
Modern systems handle anything from 80 kg per shelf for office files up to 1,200 kg+ per bay for heavy industrial parts and warehouse loads. We size each system to your exact loadings.
+Can roller racking be installed on a suspended floor?
Yes, with proper structural assessment. We routinely install on first floors, mezzanines and suspended floors — confirming loadings with a structural engineer before quoting.
